Intensive Multi-Day Group Programs in Langley
Group Therapy
If you haven’t tried group therapy before, the idea of working alongside others might feel uncomfortable. That makes sense. Sharing personal struggles with people you don’t know takes courage, and it’s natural to wonder whether it could actually help.
Here’s what we’ve seen over and over: people walk into our groups nervous, sometimes skeptical, and leave feeling less alone than they have in a long time. There’s something that happens when you’re in a room with people who truly understand what you’re going through. Not because they read about it, but because they’re living it too. Individual therapy can’t replicate that.
Our groups are small (3-8 people), intensive (multi-day), and carefully curated. Every participant completes an individual intake interview before the group begins, so we can make sure the fit is right for you and for everyone else in the room.
Serving Langley and the Lower Mainland since 2012.
Each group runs over multiple days at our dedicated group therapy space in Langley. We run groups on a recurring basis. If a group isn’t currently scheduled, you can join the waitlist and we’ll be in touch when the next round is confirmed.
Living with Chronic Pain & Illness
Chronic pain and illness affect far more than your body. They reshape your relationships, your sense of self, and the way you move through daily life. This group brings together a small number of people navigating similar challenges to learn how your nervous system responds to chronic conditions, practice coping strategies that build resilience, and connect with others who actually understand what it’s like. You don’t have to explain yourself here.

Traumatic Grief
Losing someone you love in an unexpected or untimely way creates a kind of grief that most people around you don’t know how to sit with. They want to help, but their comfort often runs out before your pain does. This group is for people who are carrying that weight. Over multiple days together, you’ll process your loss alongside others who understand what traumatic grief actually feels like, with the support of experienced facilitators who won’t rush you through it.

Anxiety & Resilience
Anxiety can be isolating. You might have people in your life who care, but unless they’ve lived it, the reassurance doesn’t always land the way you need it to. This group brings together a small number of people who understand what it’s like to live with anxiety that doesn’t just go away when you “take a deep breath.” Over four days, you’ll learn how anxiety works in your body and your nervous system, practice strategies for building resilience, and do it alongside people who actually get it.

Intake interview
You’ll have an individual conversation with one of the group facilitators. This is where we learn about what you’re going through, answer your questions, and together figure out whether the group is a good fit for you right now.
Join the group
Once you and the facilitator agree it’s a good fit, you’re in. Groups are small (3-8 people) and closed once they begin, so every member is there for the full experience.
A dedicated space for group work.
Our groups meet at our dedicated group therapy room at #211 – 20238 Fraser Hwy in Langley. The space is designed with comfort in mind: plenty of room to move, natural light, and a single-person washroom on site. We build in regular breaks throughout each day, and you’re always welcome to adjust your position, get up, or do whatever you need to take care of yourself.
Is what I say in group therapy confidential?
Every group member is expected to keep what’s shared in the room private. That means not disclosing anyone else’s identity or discussing what comes up in sessions with people outside the group. Our facilitators set these expectations clearly at the start and work to create an environment where everyone feels safe enough to be honest. It’s worth noting that group therapy members are also typically discouraged from socializing outside of sessions, which helps maintain those boundaries.
What if I’m not sure group therapy is right for me?
That’s exactly what the intake interview is for. It’s a one-on-one conversation with one of the facilitators where you can ask anything you need to, talk about what you’re going through, and get a real sense of what the group experience would be like. There’s no pressure. If you or the facilitator feel it’s not the right fit at this point, we’ll be straightforward about that.
Do I need to attend every day?
Yes. Our groups are closed, which means the same people are there from start to finish. That consistency is part of what makes the experience work. If something comes up and you can’t continue, you always have the right to withdraw, but we do ask that participants commit to the full schedule before joining.
Is there financial support available?
We offer payment plans and have a limited number of reduced-rate spaces for each group. If cost is a concern, bring it up during your intake interview and we’ll work with you to figure out what’s possible.
